ABOUT US
The Amazing Fox Entertainment is a US-based youth variety theater. It’s a non-profit organization working with bilingual children speaking Russian or Ukranian languages.
Theater actors and volunteers as well as its audience came to the United States from Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries.
Hailing from different nations and cultures, we cherish our friendship, we respect and support each other.
Entertaining our little spectators with fun theatrical
performances, we aim to teach core values: kindness, friendship, respect, compassion, and mutual support.
The Amazing Fox Entertainment theater was founded in 2016 by stage director Alla Foxman.
Its first project was the play Luntik. Later, other performances followed: Ah, Pinocchio!, New Year in the Underwater Kingdom, Rainbow over Prostokvashino, New Year in Fairytale Forest, Magic Ship, The Wizard of the Emerald City, and A New Year’s Journey from a Fairy Tale to a Fairy Tale.
Our festive New Years’ performances have become a yearly tradition and can be considered the main New Years’ events for Russian-speaking children of Greater Washington in terms of scale and beauty.
Currently, Amazing Fox Entertainment theater is the largest youth theater and the only Russian-language theater of Greater Washington working in the interactive variety genre.
Our motto is “Amazing Fox: from a young age and forever”. Participants of all ages gathered in our theater — people who want to create festive mood and fairytale for children.
Together, we’re a large thespian family of The Amazing Fox Entertainment.
Working with kids
Our theater also specializes in youth acting classes. The classes are led by our teachers, Elena Ayanyan and Alla Foxman, as well as some invited maestros.
Beginning actors get the opportunity to participate in youth productions or in large projects jointly with adult actors.
In our theater, children are engaged in theatrical, choreographic, and vocal groups.
Our concept
The Amazing Fox Theater hosts theatrical events in Russian in different cities of Maryland and Virginia (mainly Rockville, Columbia, and Annandale).
Performances are held both at professional theater venues and in secondary schools.
Both adults and children participate in them. Our main audience consists of kids from two to ten years old and their parents.
